Comments: After getting a pair of signed cards from Mr. Kittle last year, I was able to actually meet the man himself and get an autograph in person. How about this '89 Score? So cheap, so generic, but actually a pretty nice looking card.

Brett Butler

Comments: Nice '87 Topps card of Brett Butler. He's currently the manager of the Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Brett enjoyed a pretty good career with Braves, Indians, Giants, Dodgers and Mets and stole a whole pile of bases in the process.

C.C. Sabathia

Comments: This was a nice surprise here. It's not often a top-tier player like C.C. is so great about signing autograph requests through the mail. I shot this off to C.C. during spring training. It took a little while, but it was well worth the wait. The signature turned out great on this card. I'm happy to have him on an Indians card too, instead of a Brewers or Yankees cards. So, this one is a big win all around.

Brook Jacoby

Comments: I've actually had this card since the day I got it out of a pack in 1986. I'm sure I didn't give it too much of a thought then, as it was not a card of a Reds player. So, once Brook got the job as hitting coach for the Reds, I dug through my cards to see if I had any of his... and this badboy came up. Nice classic follow-thru from Coach Jacoby on the card and a nice autograph to polish it off. Well played.
