Comments: The Reds have quite a few great TTM signers on the team. Drew is right there with the best of them. I've missed him at Redsfest the past two years, but he's hooked me up TTM twice now - very cool.

This is a Topps promo card from Redsfest 2009. They gave cards of a few featured Reds away at various tables around the convention. It was nice to send Drew a card with him in a Reds uni. Of course, right about the time that I got this back, I picked up a pretty sweet 2010 Topps Heritage card of him that would be perfect for a signature. Maybe later this year we can take care of that.

Comments: Great autograph from a real up and comer in the Reds system. In 2008, Drew blew through three levels of minor league ball - improving at every level as he climbed. While in the Arizona Fall League this past fall, Drew even kept a blog of his experiences - while tearing it up the during AFL season. He'll be a force in the Reds line-up soon. Maybe not in 2009, but very soon.

Comments: Drew was the Reds first round pick in 2006 and tore through the minor leagues in 2008 - mostly under the radar due to the attentions Bruce/Votto/Cueto/Volquez generated. You'll be hearing about this guy pretty soon, it sounds like. I'll have to admit, when I got this autograph from him at Redsfest last year, I didn't know who he was. Boy, am I glad I got this auto though! Probably the first of a few more as Drew makes his way up to the bigs.
