So Nike was running a bunch of promotion around the marathon this weekend. They handed out these sweet pace bands where they printed out the mile splits for your goal time. The bracelet was nice, Dry-Fit type material, but the print out was too damn small. I had a hard time reading it during the race. I wasn't too worried since I was with my pace group for a lot of the race, so I knew I was on track. I did pick up two bands, so I'm thinking that using each band for one half of a race would work out really well. They will be great for half-marathons for sure.

Oh, Niketown. So, we got these lanyards at the expo that you had to take to Niketown on Michigan Ave. to swipe and see if you won anything. The line for this was crazy! I did end up waiting in it, and it moved quite swiftly. I didn't win anything, but it was kinda fun anyway. I did pick up a Dry-Fit Prefontaine t-shirt while I was there.
