Headed to Flatstock 13 in Chicago with Rob this weekend to be his booth monkey, meet some artists, hear some music at the Pitchfork Music Festival and cause some havoc. You can keep up with all the action on our Flatstock 13 Blog. Should be killer.
Photos from our trip last year are right here, and here (scroll down a litle bit - they are all tagged "gigposters")

Here's the scene when we started setting up on Sunday morning. There was a storm blowing through Chicago that morning, and everyone was bracing for rain. You can imagine what that is like with a bunch of folks who print posters... on paper.... yeah, crazy. Luckily though, it blew threw with no rain. Some tents were a little touched up from the wind, but nothing major.
Robert "Bob" Pollard print by Clint Reno. He shared a tent with Small Print for the weekend and is a super-talented artist and great guy. It was great meeting him and his wife, Becky over the weekend. Great folks. I really liked this print to. Check out his website,
Not the best photo, but that's what you get from a camera phone late at night. Anyways, this photo was taken from the rooftop of the
Rob and I went to the KFC/Taco Bell down the street from the festival. THAT was a crazy place. I could go on. Let's just say we got the hell out of there the second our food came.

One of the stages at the Pitchfork Music Festival. Not sure who was playing when I took the photo.
Here's the scene looking of the the Small Print booth at Flatstock. Everyone's running around getting their shit together.
The Hideout was just that - a little out-of-the-way bar in a warehouse district in Chicago. Great place for the Flatstock BBQ/Party. Got to meet some great folks, had a couple 312's and some Giordano's Pizza. Great kick-off to the weekend. The photo if of Rob walking out the front door to have a seat with us.
